A church group is looking forward to experiencing ‘a powerful movement of the Holy Spirit’ in a day of ‘graces and healing’.
On Saturday 22nd October 2022, the Charismatic Diocesan Service of Communion (CDSC) for Hexham & Newcastle in partnership with the Bethany Prayer group, are hosting an event entitled “You are my beloved” from 11am at St Augustine’s, church, Darlington.
The day will include a variety of liturgical features, including praise and worship, testimony, Mass, exposition and a blessing.
CDSC Coordinator John Wheeler has high hopes for the day and a renewal for many.
“We hope to experience a powerful movement of the Holy Spirit as we come together in song and prayer,” he told the Universe.
“We hope for hearts and minds to be moved by the testimony. We hope for many graces and healings as we bring ourselves to the Lord and receive Him in communion. We hope for our blessed Lord to touch people in deep and special ways through the final blessing. All are welcome.”
He added that the day is aimed at those from the Cleveland & South Durham Vicariate in the Diocese of Hexham & Newcastle and beyond. To book a place, email email@example.com.
